Default front pads at 1 & 3mm. Is it safe to drive??

I ordered new pads and rotors, but they gave me the wrong hat height. While I wait for the new ones to come in and find time to do them, am I safe driving for another week or so?

Sure. Any friction material is as good for a DD as a full depth set of pads.

But, just in case, keep a bit of extra distance. When the friction material is gone and you are metal to metal, you will know it!
