Default Car safe to drive with these codes?

Hey everyone,

So last night my B5 threw it's first CEL, amazing I know.

The codes ares:

17522 - Oxygen Sensor B1 S2 Internal resistance too high P1114, intermittent
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected P0411
16712 - Knock Sensor 1 (G61): Signal too High P0328, intermittent

The rear O2 I have known for while but that never threw a CEL. I think that the 16795 is causing the 16712 which threw the CEL.

I checked the ross tech wiki and it says:

Code:
16795/P0411/001041 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON
Possible Causes
Fuel Pump Relay (J17) faulty
Hoses/Pipes to/between Components faulty/clogged
Secondary Air Injection Pump (V101) faulty
Secondary Air Injection Pump Relay (J299) faulty
Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve (N112) faulty
Possible Solutions
Check Fuel Pump Relay (J17)
Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
Check Secondary Air Injection Hoses/Pipes for Carbonization
Check Secondary Air Injection Pump (V101)
Check Secondary Air Injection Pump Relay (J299)
Check Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve (N112)

Code:
16712/P0328/000808 - Knock Sensor 1 (G61): Signal too High

Possible Symptoms
Irregular RPM
Drivability Issues
Loss of Power
Engine Damage
Possible Causes
Knock Sensor 1 (G61) Short to Plus
Knock Sensor 1 (G61) Open Circuit
Knock Sensor 1 (G61) improperly torqued
Knock Sensor 1 (G61) faulty
Engine Control Module faulty
Possible Solutions
Torque Knock Sensor 1 (G61) to specifications
Check Wiring and Connections
Check Knock Sensor 1 (G61) and Knock Control
Special Notes
This feature search for unusual (spontaneous) combustion. The sensor detects unusual vibrations and based on that it generates a voltage. Is this voltage outside a certain limit a dtc will be se

I am thinking something fuel/air related from the first code is causing the engine to knock and set off the second code and the CEL. Anyone ever deal with these before?

I will go check the fuel pump relay and the secondary air injection relay now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just remembered that this hose is cracked:

Could that be causing these codes?

Thanks

The broken pipe can cause the AIR code, but it should not affect the KS or the O2 . The AIR does not affect engine performance and the AIR pump only operates till the cat is lit. A bad KS could cause engine damage, and the O2 could cause economy and performance problems.

the bad secondary wont be anything bad. sensor 1 is the one you need to worry about, although you wont pass emissions with a code like that. it would need to be fixed if you have emissions. the secondary air injection code is most likely because of that broken pipe seeing that pipe feeds the secondary air system. as for the knock sensor code, i got no idea besides a bad sensor, unless of course you have been knocking badly
