Fuel on bottom of plug?
This may be a stupid question, but I had fixed a misfire a couple of weeks ago by replacing a bad coil pack. I replaced it with an STI, now i'm getting a misfire on that same cylider and the new pack seems to have burnt out. I have heard this is a problem with STI brand coil packs, that they cant handle the heat of the turbo engines. Here comes the question...I pulled the plug out to double check the gap (.028, as I thought) and I noticed fuel on the bottom around the lower threads and the part that you gap, is this normal?

def the coil pack
Yeah, I actually already did the swap out and the misfire followed, I just wanted to make sure the fuel on the plug was normal...No car I ever owned ever got me as scared shitless as this audi though, I always think the worst...I'm starting to find my way around it though, mostly due to the people on this forum....Us audi owners gotta stick together. I have already saved myself a considerable amount of dough doing **** myself. I always double, and triple check everything just to make sure I'm not ******* anything up, and I always keep up on my maintanence. Anyway, I got a beru coilpack coming in tomorrow so I'm pretty confident I'll be smoothe sailing after I bolt that bitch in place....Thank god I'm in good with my supplier and he's not sticking me with this STI pack. I did a lot of research on them, and they seem to blow out a lot on the turbo cars, I dont think they can handle all the heat. I think I'm also gonna leave those engine covers in the garage, because I think they trap in heat....
