i was using 87 before and recently changed to 89 and i noticed a big gas mileage difference. i was getting 23/19 now i get 26/21. think i'm going to try 93 and see if it gets better.

I keep a mileage/repair log and calculate mpg for each tank. I never used regular, but I have seen no mpg difference between midrange (89) and premium (91 or 93). Possibly performance would be better, but I do not run the car that hard. I have seen poorer mpg when I'm forced into using gas with 10% ethanol.
