Hi Guys,

Just ranting really. We found out that the reason my A6 wouldn't come out of park was that the auto gearbox control module had got water damaged. Since then, I have been trying to find a secondhand one, or someone to repair the damaged unit. So far nothing! Apparently the things are as rare as hen's teeth here in the UK and I have already had one electronic repair co. say that they aren't prepared to touch the ECU with a barge pole.

With this being the case, I guess my only option is to scrap the car as I certainly can't afford a new module from Audi as that's more than I would ever get for the whole car, plus the car needs a new MOT too.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.
