General problems with a new A6
I think you would do better to try and work with the dealer to trade in the car you have on something else, you will take a hit but maybe less of one than if you try and sell the car on your own and buy something different. I think lemons laws only protect you if there are multiple or unfixable problems, not just when the car you bought does not suit your driving style or comfort level. I see you keep pressing the idea that you thought you were buying a luxury car but I think in fairness to Audi they are pretty clear in the sport aspect of their cars in their advertising.
Funny... only one person has an issue. I have not noticed anything unusual about the shifting or breaking of the A6. I do know that turbo's have a much more agressive and noticeable feel to them more in line with sport than cushy luxury.
Well, I took my A6 in for service as per the new service bulletin for the transmission problem. It made no difference, at all.
All the problems with the new car (i.e. the rough transmission shifting and the loud brakes) are described both by my local service department and by Audi USA as "typical" of an Audi. I still insist that, after owning many cars in my life, I've never had any vehicle that had these kind of issues.
I'm now surrendering. It's just too aggravating. If anyone is interested in a new 2013 Audi A6 2.0 Premium Plus in Dakota grey with beige interior, please contact me. I bought it in March 2013, and it now has 7500 mi. The original MSRP was over$51,000. It has the Audi Care service package, covering the routine maintenance thru 45,000 mi.
It is a Premium Plus. It has the cold weather package, side assist package, 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, 8 speed automatic, etc.
I'll start asking $40,000, and I'm located in Shrewsbury, MA
