RE: giac or apr
Unfortunately, most people will tell you to search, as this has been covered many times in the past. I will tell you that I have APR and love it, I have no biasfor either company, this was just my choice.

GIAC at 80k. Noticeable increase in power as the turbos spool up. No difference under 2500 rpm. MPG has remained the same. Do change the diverter valves and the TBB at the same time. Only problem is that I had to replace my clutch at 89k - possibly due to the extra power; possibly due to the previous owner hauling a small trailer for the first 34k before I bought the car.
Why GIAC over APR - the speed shop I use recommended it.

Who's got the closest WELL qualified installer near to where you live? Given the general "I love GIAC" "I love APR" you'll find PLENTY of people saying, this appears to be an important consideration.
Good luck.
Good luck.
