I have a 2003 A6 2.7T and need wiper replacements. I went to the autozone and bought the 22" that is necessary and found when trying to replace them that they would not work. The cover on the arm slides down to release the wiper blade. The replacement blade does not work with the post in the hook.

Other then purchasing from the 'stealership' what can be done?

 

www.ecstuning.com has replacement blades. I purchased the oem blades from them.They're quiet and work well. I think the cost is around $16 each.

 

dunno if they changed that much from 00 to 03, but i just got a set of michelin replacements and they worked fine on my 2000 and not nearly 16 bucks a pop

 

I've been looking for replacement OEM blades as well, as the stealership wants $50+ for the set. Let me know if the ones from the site work. I have the Bosch blades that slide down over the arm. There is no hinge pin clip or hook on the arm like an American car.
