Hey guys, new to the forums so bear with me. Just bought an 05 A6 3.2 Quattro and I'm experiencing a hard shift problem. Dealer says there are no codes, but the fluid does look dark and recommends a flush. It has 56K miles so I don't necessarily mind doing the maintenance (an $800 job), but they have no other ideas if it doesn't solve the problem, other than completely replacing the tranny. I can't isolate it to a particular gear change and it seems to happen mostly when the vehicle downshifts and when the RPMs are low. The only info I can find on a simple Google search is a transmission computer or the fluid flush. Anyone experience this problem before? Help!
