Default Hard Start after sitiing 1 hour plus

I have a 2005 Allroad 2.7T and the car starts right up first start. doesn't make any difference what time of day. If the car sits for about 1 hour or more it takes quite a few cranks before it will start. It does not indicate any codes when checked with Vag-Com. I did replace the CTS on chance this was the problem but it didn't fix the problem. I have checked the fuel pressure and check for bleeding injectors but all of it checks good per specs.
Is this maybe a fuel pump problem?

This maybe a long shot, but have you tried cleaning your MAF?

Installed new wires and plug on CTS and tried new Crankshaft Position Sensor. Neither fixed the hard start when hot.
Anybody got suggestions as to what maybe the problem???

Default same issue...

I'm interested in the resolution cuz I just purchased a 2000 A6 4.2 and has same problem. Seems not to be getting fuel after it's warm.
