Head Unit Question

RE: Head Unit Question
no. You can do one of two things:
1) add an RCA converter (Blaupunkt part) that would connect behind they Sym II headunit...but that would bypass your existing Bose amp...and require you to run a dedicated aftermarket amp for all of the speakers. Not recommended...based on your objective.
see my pix below for pix of some of these devices.

2) add a line-out converter that would tap into the rear left/right channels near the bose amp. You wan to keep the aftermarket sub/amp restricted to the rear channels (for front/rear fade purposes). For this, I would consult your local stereo shop....or autotoys.com for some ideas of products.
Also, I would join audiworld.com and ask this question on the audio forum (remember to search the forum first).
Good luck!
