Headlight Problems
So last week I saw that my passenger side headlight(HID) went out. So of course I ordered new bulbs and just got em yesterday. I put the new bulbs in and my stupid passenger headlight is still out. Any ideas? I'm assuming that since the driver side still works it wouldn't be a fuse right? Needless to say I haven't checked it because every other light on the car works except for the HID light. A friend of mine thinks the ballast may be bad. If it is, are they hard to change yourself? And has anyone done it before? I'm keeping the car parked until I get it to work again cuz I don't want the new driver side light to get broke in different then the passenger side light.

if you have the Car with OEM hids in it then the balast is mounted under the headlight, you have to take out the headlight to replace it, unless you buy new balasts and just put them in there, i bought a new set and just left the ones that were on there, and mounted the new ones in a safe spot, you can get some from DDMtuning.com if i were you id take the ones you got back and just go all out and get a 55 watt kit, its worth it. got anymore questions just send me a PM i have aLOT of expierence with HIDs ive had em on everycar and such.

this might take a while, but if the L/R connectors are identical you can try pulling over the working headlight to test on the bad side. it's not a common problem imo and could very well be the ballast.

so do any of you know where I can get a repair manual for my car so i can figure out how to take the headlight out? i took the screw out from the top, and the metal clips off, but it seems like something else is still holding it in. unfortuneately i think that it is the ballast that is broken because i checked the fuses and the bulbs are new.
