I believe my '01 A6 has Halogen lights and I need to replace the assembly in for the drivers side. I was wondering what it would take to swap a OEM Xenon/HID set in? Is it straight forward plug and play or what? Thanks!

 

Yes, it is. You will not have the auto level function with out installing the module behind the drivers trunk side panel or the level sensors on both the front and rear control arms. But, it works fine. I have done this on my 2000 A6 quattro and it is a wonderful upgrade.
