Default Headlight washer question...

I cant get my headlight washers to work...Is all you do is to use your windshield washers with the headlights on? Should they pop up with just the water pressure or is it a mechanical thing? Electric? could it be a fuse?
Thanks....

Hold the stalk for few seconds then they'll pop up...with water pressure. OTOH you'll find that alot of people disable them since they are prone to leak, and dirty up the hood.

How is that done? So maybe I can reverse it...It would be great for winter driving in Michigan and then I can disable it in the spring...

The way I did it, which I read on Audiworld is: There's a "T" connection behind the bumper on the driver's side (not the easiest to get to. I took off the fog light grill and stuck my arm up in there). Disconnect the line leading from the pump to the "T". Plug it with a bolt, then zip-tie to "clamp" the bolt in. Then bend the hose to pinch it off. Zip-tie it to keep it pinched, and lastly zip-tie it to the bumper brace to keep it from flopping around. Not sure how reversible this is though, since I'm not going to undo it...I don't know how many gallons of water I've lost from the washer bottle because of those devils.

The system works entirely on water pressure. The pressue is generated by a second washer pump. First check to make sure all your fuses are ok. If they are youll have to get up under the car and check volatage at the pump while attemting to uses the headlamp wahsers. If you have 12v you need a new pump. If you dont have voltage, you have to find out where your losing the voltage.
