Default headlight washer jets question?

would anyone know why the headlight washer jets stop working and windshield washer continue to work? This has happened to me and for the last month been in Florida not a freeze issue.

Maybe a pressure hose popped off and stopped feeding pressure to the pump? Take a look inside the bumper and see if you see anything loose or disconnected around the headlight washer assemblies. Chances are you'll find something.

I'll ask the obvious: Is your washer fluid low? It sprays only the windshield when it's low. (Also, the headlights have to be on to get sprayed.)

Yeah, I'll bet...

Here's another thread that says the headlight washers have a separate pump from the windshield washers.

are you saying that the headlight washer come on for a few seconds and then go off, if so this is normal, the headlights go on for only a few seconds to get grime off.

+1,000

If the headlight washers diddn't go off after a few seconds, you would have to refill your fluid every time you used your wiper washer things.

Good catch: The headlight washers only fire one short burst each time you pull the lever. I didn't think to mention that.
