I was wrong! My wire to my drivers wheel sensor snapped. I spliced and all is fine. Thanks for all who told me not to jump into thinking the module is bad.

 

Yes. Always check the wheel speed sensor first. You do this by reading vag-com codes for the abs system. The autozone odb2 scanner will not read these codes. Keep in mind that a bad abs module will throw wheel speed sensor faults too, but you won't be able to communicate with the module if it is bad. If you can communicate with the module, then it is good.

Now another question. My brake pedal is vibrating when I'm going slow and hitting the break lightly what could that be an indication of?

 

You may need to check your rotors or brake pads, if everything else on the front end is ok.
Hard braking warps the rotors in time, or sometimes defective pads from manufacturingf cut channels on the surface of the rotors. If sanding both does not alleviate the symptoms, you look at getting new rotors/pads.

Whatever the terminology is, you need new rotors and brake pads. Follow the bedding process from Stoptech website.
