Greetings everyone,

I recently purchased an A6 (2004, 3.0 Quattro) which I got in a minor crash this weekend. During the blizzard a road I was driving on was very icey and the car skidded off the road into a very snowy field across a ditch.

A lot of mud was stuck in the wheels and perhaps on the underside. The underside may have been scraped a little on mud and snow. Thankfully the body is not in too bad shape but I have the MIL light burning every time I drive now, even though the ride feels normal.

Does anyone know why this might be? Thanks in advance for all your help to a novice! By the way I have ensured that the gas tank is closed correctly
