Default Help, I need to clean my carpet! (I know that sounds funny)

I went out for drink last night with this chick I haven't seen in a while.. Before I realized she drank way too much. On the way home she got pretty sick. Even though I pulled over some still got in the car's carpet and door trim. I hit a gas station and tried to vacuum most of it out, but now I need to really clean it well.
please..
- recommend any products I should use
-what methods work best for an aggressive clean up like this

I'm guessing I need a shop vac and some hot water. This sucks big time.

If your talking about hurl, then you need to use one hell of a cleaning agent that doesn't have any fragerance like lemon or something which would make it smell horrible. Stay away from carpet shampoo, use the hot water like you were saying but don't use too much of it because you don't wanna soak the carpet pad. You need to heat the water to the point of boiling (on the stove) then use a small shovel or spoon the apply it the carpet, scrub it really good with a brush then dab it up with a dry towel.
Repeat the process until the smell is gone.

This seem odd, but works well. I tried it because it was the only thing on hand. Its called"Pets and Kids." This is sold just about everywhereand has no scent. It takes out everything associated with...well...Pets and Kids...lol...We are talking poo, pee, blood, sweat, and general nastiness.Youjust squirt some on the affected area (try inconspicuous spot first as usual), wait 30 seconds and DAB with a terry cloth towel. DO NOTscrub or try to wipe up. This stuff brings all the nastiness to the surface. Dab away, done. Then, add hot water with a mild soap detergent (very little soap..I recommend straight up non-alakaline detergent) and scrub out. Let air dry for an hour or so, confirm the stain/smell is gone, then apply heat to fully dry carpet and pad. If you apply heat too soon, you will be left with permenant stains.HAHAHA learned this from my Mom when I went to college and had to start doing my own laundry. Theory still applies though. (applying heat).

Use the same alcohol she had for drinks. That should work!
