Default Help Identify this part

Hello All. I have a 2000 audi a6 I bought at an insurance auction with front end damage. I ended up replacing a headlight and front bumper cover, but when i was in the trunk the other day i noticed a piece which appears to have been broken off in the crash. It has a connection point ( pictured) and a metal surface which at one point appeared to have been covered by something. I think it may be the outside temparature sensor or something because the temperature for the outside goes up and down on a whim. Can someone help me identify this part? I have attached 3 pics at different angles.

I've been looking all over for that part. It was knocked off my 1998 Kia by some idiot in an Audi two months ago.

The outside temp sensor is a little dinky thing that snaps in place in the inner side of the front bumper.

Having a connector and based on the "looks" (the metal with a rubber bushing in between it and the power connector) it may have something to do with the headlight leveling sensor that's attached to the suspension (although I've only seen a mounted one in a pic posted by someone on the forum).
I don't have a quattro so I may be totally out of line, but that looks like no part I would find in my C4 non-quattro - and by now I pretty much know it from front to back like my backyard.
Someone may know exactly what we're looking at.

Looks like a horn. It ain't the outside air temperature sensor. I would guess (Vag-Cat is down right now so I can't check) that is is part of the inner bumper reinforcment.
