Hi guy, I have a 2002 Audi A6. When I bought it, it only came with one key. However, the key was deteriorating so I wanted to replace a new one. I bought a blank off of Ebay thinking that if I just move the pcb and the key blade to the new one, it would work. However, during the process of removing the pcb, it broke apart. So I hit Ebay again to find a new key that comes with a pcd. It also has the same code as the old one which is D0 837 231 P. However, when I got this new key, the pcb looks different than my old key. Consequently, the wireless features on the key did not work. I contacted the seller asking if he has one with the same pod as mine. Sadly, he said no.

My question is if the key's wireless features did not work because of programming or is it because of the differences in pcb? If my only choice now is to go to the dealer to get a new key?
