Default Help Needed - 2005 A6 Question

Hello, I purchased a 2005 A6 about 6 months ago with about 30k miles on it. Now I call the dealer and they are telling me that I need to bring it in for the 35k service but now I have 50K on the car. He is saying the plugs need to be changed out and amoung other things the cost is over $500. Yet, when I go to this site, it does not say the 2005 A6 needs plugs changed out - http://www.servassistonline.com/Audi..._AUD_35000.php

What are your thoughts and shoud I just take it back to the place I purchased it from since I get free inspection and let them do the service? My email is krattzz@verizon.net so any help would be appreiciated. As I think my local Audi dealer is taking me to the bank for this $550. Also, can't I just change the dam plugs on my own?

Thanks,

Mark

Here: http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/Ma...e_Schedule.pdf page 10 & 11

On page 11 (don't mind the A4 in the title) it says that the spark plugs need to be replaced at 35K if you have the 1.8T or 3.0L engines. And it's the last item on the website that you posted, so I don't know quite what you're talking about. It's pretty legit, though most of the things you can do yourself.

The plugs in the 05 3.2 and 4.2 get replaced as part of the 55k service.
