Default Help!!! Passenger Window Problems

I have had my Audi A6 for about 4 years now. Its a 99 and in good condition but the Passenger window started acting up about a month ago. It rolls up very slowly and rolls down whenever it feels like it. I called 1-800-822-2834 ( The Audi "Hotline") and they stated there was no recall. I have read several people on Craigslist trying to sell their Audis with the same problem. Does anyone else have this problem? If you do I was told by the lady on the phone to have everyone call the 800 number with their VIN# handy to start a Campaign? What is that?

Thanks for responses

It is your window regulator clip. Temporary way to get around it is to briefly lower the window and raise it again. Check out the following site for the part. Part is cheap.

Usual problem with our cars...

This " It rolls up very slowly and rolls down whenever it feels like it. " , is an un-documented feature of Audis. As hxgaser says, the part is cheap, but a little involved to replace.
