Had a question about my HID light sprayers on my '00. Are they supposed to come up everytime you use your windsheild washer, or do they come up every now and then. Just wanted to know so I can see if something is wrong.

 

on my 96 wag they only operate when lights r on.

They should spray only when the headlights are on.

 

correct. Only when headlights are turned on. Those things use a lot of fluid. If they were to spray your headlights everytime you cleaned the windshield, you'd be out of fluid in a week.

BTW...be careful using them in cold weather without proper winter fluid. They will freeze and break...costly replacement. I literally turn my headlights out to use mine in cold weather (-32 degrees) to avoid this problem. [&:]

 

There will be a little square in front of the headlights on the bumper.
