I just installed my kamei style grill it look great and all but the problem is that when i go to try to open the hood the tongue doesnt really come out of the hood so i have to kind of wiggle the hood and stuff like that to open the hood. Does anyone else have this problem??? is it b/c the grill wasnt the real kamei?? or is it because i didnt install it right???

 

if its the tongue is catching on the new grill you probably need to file the grill in the back to keep the tongue from catching when it trys to slide out. if the grill isnt the problem you should adjust the springs on inside of the hood and see if it helps. -blacka6
