Hot air blowing on Drivers side vent with A/C on
This is a strange thing with my 2004 Audi A-6. The air vent LEFT of the Steering wheel blows hot while the Drivers Side Climate controls say 65-68dF (in 80+dF outside weather) and the Left CENTER air vent blows a crisp and cool 65-68dF. What is the deal? How can I get the drivers side air vent to blow at the same temperature as the CENTER air vent?
I think I figured it out... although I just seem to have lucked up on a "solution" that seems to work. After getting used to the idea that my AC/Climate Control is always in a state of being on, I adjusted the temperature to "LO" and both Driver's vents blow cold air equally. I can't say that I know how to make the left vent blow cool air if I decide to raise the temperature above 70 degrees at will, but now the AC seems to blow at a balanced rate, even when the "outside temperature" is just a degree or two from the "inside temp." I have NO idea what was going on before though.
