Well like so many of us has fuzzy readings of the management display. I believe this has to do with bad leads/contacts. Does anyone knows how to open this plastic box. I know to remove it from the dashboard but not how to open it. I see many clips but there might be some hidden tricks. i rather ask first before I screw up.

I guess all i have to say is be careful and take your time. It's mostly just the clips you have to worry about (i shouldn't have to tell you about the screws that you need to take out, those should be obvious). Here's a picture of what i did:



If you've gotten far enough where your cluster is out of the dash, then you should be able to have the diy-skills to take it apart further. As always just push things around, feel for screws that might be in place, etc.

 

I see some torx screws, do I have to remove them, although it seems that they don't have anything to do with it?
