Default HVAC fahrenheit celcius
every time I start my 2002 Audi A6, I have to change the temp unit on the HVAC system from C to F. how can I change it to default to F?

I tried accessing the HVAC system with VAG-COM, but it just tells me there are too many errors to communicate.

Address 08: Auto HVAC
Protocol: KW1281
Controller: 4B0 820 043 AD
Note: Excessive Comm Errors

Mine has been randomly changing from F to C for three years. Good luck. I suggest you learn to convert in your head. The exercise will keep your brain young.
