What is the alternative - Chinese knock-offs? I would avoid them. I think Audi oem is Bosch and those are good. I ran my A6 oems until 180k (they were replaced under recall by Audi and the car is at 235k on the second set) and have oems on my 2003 A4 (120k) and 2011 A4 (107k), which tells me they are long lasting. If it was me, I'd check with ECS Tuning as well as with Audi.

As an auto technician what I've found is, if they AREN'T made in China, good chance they'll be fine. I've seen Chinese electronic parts bad right out of the box,,,way too many times.

Beru is fine for OEM replacements. Audi has used Beru for OEM coils in the past.
