information center Light plus BEEP
I have a 2000 A6 2.7t quattro. The previous owner recently had the timing belt, water pump, thermostat and a new expansion tank put in the car prior to me purchasing the vehicle.
I've put 1000 miles on it, runs nice It has a few codes which are the combi valves and the Bank 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor codes since I have purchased the car.
Now, yesterday on my way to work, I hear this BEEP. I look on the information center and see a dummy warning light which looks like a flask with fluid spilling out of the top, located in the top yellow area of the information center.
I have NO fluid loss. No smoke upon start up or acceleration, no power loss, coolant temp through my torque program is @ 93deg C, I smell no sweetness of leaking antifreze and the connector to the expansion tank looks new. Fluid was right @ the Minimum mark as it has alway been since I purchased the car. I added a little of the pink audi G12 coolant just incase it was a little low. The car still beeps and is displaying that overflowing bottle sign in the info center.
Any idea of what is going on, how to chase this gremlin?
Thank you all

OK, here's what I've done to troubble shoot the problem. So far, no codes or new codes.
I pulled the overflow tank, checked the plug with a test light. I got no power to either side of the plug.
I ran the car with the plug disconnected and my info center said my car was overheating. I then jumped the plug with a wire. The overheating warning was gone, however, in the top yellow section of the info center, I still have the signal showing an overflowing bottle and a BEEP.
How do I fix this obnoxious problem?
Thanks
