IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHEN REMOVING THE 6 CD CHANGER RADIO? ANY WEBSITE SHOWING HOW TO DO IT?

I think you got my point on yelling. Thanks.

Regarding the CD changer. Nothing in particular you need to worry about. Just remove whatever screws are holding it in, unplug the wires, and you're done. Why are you removing it?

Seriously, the caps need to go. It's way too hard to read. As for the sub install: Click

Ray,

Lest you think we all were beaten as children for using the caps loc key and have a bizarre phobia of captial letters, here's the deal.

By pressing the cap locs key, you're making your life easier. For the people who have to read the post, however, you're making things more difficult. Is this really what you want to do when you're asking people to help you out for free?

Please, use proper capitalization and punctuation when you post. It's a simple matter of courtesy and respect for the people you're asking to help you. Yeah, it will take you an extra few seconds, but you'll be contributing to making the forum a better place. Otherwise, we hunt you down and key job your car. Continued infractions are punishable by death.

Have a nice day!

ill be the first one to actually help the guy out. you dont connect subs just to the deck, i wish it was that easy, its not a USB device, man. To get subs to work in the car, you buy an aftermarket deck with sub outputs, get an amp install kit, get an amp and get all that put in, then you can have subs in your car. I'll be putting a system in my car and ill take lots of photos. I can post em as i move along if you guys want to see. Ive been doing audio since highschool and Ive got Sound Quality trophies under my belt from me previous car. Let me know if you have more questions, I'll be glad to help you guys out. I'm usually on aim, same sn VOTBLINDUB. IM me anytime

Alright. I'm new to this but I have a 97 A6 and I didn't really want to mess with the deck but I wanted to install my sound system in the car without removing the deck. I was told by a custom audio installation company that I could purchase somewhat of an adapter. Does anyone out there know of any way or product to go about this?? Thank you!
