Default Instrument LCD Cluster Replacement Help?

Hey guys, Im looking at purchasing an a6, but the LCD cluster is messed up. I looked at the DIY and was wondering if anyone was here from Raleigh and could help a fellow member out. I can pay you or supply you with beer your choice....

i know a place where you can take it out, ship it to the company, they rebuild it and ship it back to you.. its not a cheap fix though, right around 400-450 with the shipping included

Actually, Module Master just started to offer the cluster display repair for $120, which is a bargain! Someone on one of the other forums did it and it came out great!!!

Modulemasters is the way to go. Cost me about $140, got it back in 6 days and it works perfect. They also did my ABS module for $168 after I got a $857 quote from the dealership. it works great too. Good Luck.

it seems to happen far too much on the 98 to 2002 models. Back in 2003 the dealer wanted over 800 to replace. With all the pressure of the customers demanding a recall and the newer lcd being put in from 03 on the price has come down quite a bit. Still around 500 with the labor fees. The do it yourself kits can work well but you cant be afraid to open up your dash. Good luck!
