im in a lil confused and really want to do it...
BUT

will a S8 motor fit in a 99 C5 A6Q ???
because my boss picked up a 2004 S8 thats been totaled ( wrapped around a pole ) and has everything i would need for the swap and since i was already haveing probs with the tip a couple of days ago i went ahead and got myself a 6spd out of an 02 S4.
now i was really thinking about the sleeper it would be from the outside

is this doable ( im a licenced tech - not afraid to get dirty but hate AT transmissions with a passion )
