Default Interior light not working

2000 Audi A6, and the main interior light in the roof is not working. The two smaller ones work fine, only the main light in the front is out. All the lights in the back seat and the boot works fine. I checked the fuses and replaced the light bulbs, did not help.

The light in the glovebox is not working either.

Anything else I should check? Is there a fuse for only the main interior light in the front? (The explanation of the fuses on the back of the cover was in german)

Check & make sure the carpet is not wet under the drivers seat. Your convenience module is under there & controls interior lights.

I checked under the seats, its dry. Tried to check the lines, and when I did not find anything I hit the light in frustration and it came on. Now its gone again, but I'll try find a replacement light and if its not the cables or connectors, it should help. Theres a silicone chip in the lightswitch unit, my guess is its that one.
