I am a new member to this forum , yet have owned many audis.

Last week I did a CV joint replacement & installed koni FSD;s .

My car is a 2000 2.7 6spd with the sport package & aftermarket swaybars.

the change in the ride is fantastic. All the little pot holes are gone. It is like riding a few inches off the road. Car is also stiffer once you get into sweepers. Great shock for a sport cruiser, on my smaller sportier cars (BMW)I have bilsteins. Which are firmer all over.

Also while installing the CV boots ,I found a short cut to help seperate the drive axle from the joint. I removed the 17mm hex bolt & put 1/4 ' deep socket in the hole to act as a spacer put the bolt back in and that allowed the spline from the axle to seperate from the joint.

Yes WELCOME! Did you use the FSD's with just your stock sport springs?

yes the car has the factory sport suspension. The car also seems quieter. I don't want to give the impression that these are a comfort item , they are definitely sporty, but not jaring like a bilstien would be. Car also has Hotchkis bars.
When I did this work I took my 17' summer tires off & put on my 16' winter tires so that will also make a difference in the feel.
