Default LED brake light problem.

Hi everyone.

I have a problem with one of my brake lights and have been searching everywhere for someone who have had the the same problem as me but haven't found anything.

I have a 2006 A6 Avant, with LED tail lights.

The problem i have is that the brake light only comes on on the left side of the car.
The running light work on both sides.
I have measured the voltage on the pins coming in to the lights on both sides and found that when only the running lights are on, they both measure 2 volts.
When i press the brake the right side voltage goes up to 8 volts and the brake light comes on.
However on the left side the voltage only comes up to 4 volts and there is no change in the brightness of the light.

So does anyone know where this problem can originate?

Is there some kind of control module somewhere were i can measure again to see what voltage it is puting out and if the problem is there of if there is a brake in a wire somewhere?

would be very thankful for any answers!
