Default Lemon Laws for NJ and PA?

I Recently bought an 2003 audi a6 3.0 from a dealership in east brunswick nj called M2 AUTO GROUP, i live in PA and went to go check it out. so i went there to check the car out(even when i seen it on craigslist i wanted it bad)
so going there and asking about the audi these guys sucked at their job, constantly on their cell phones, acting like we didnt exist it was just a bad time at that dealership. so we finally take it for a test run he gets in the back and i drive around.

the car sounds fine and drives fine... so we get done and i check the oil to see if theres the right amount, what i did i noticed it wasnt the right oil, seemed like it wasnt synthetic, i said ill just change it when i get back home. so i do the transaction with these cocky *****, i bought the car straight cash since they didnt finance, they ******* wouldnt go down a 1$ litterally. they said they would only be making 200$ from this car anyways...i laughed inside thinking they must think im retarded and took it anyways.

so i get back home, 2 days later i decide to change the oil to the specific oil it uses. the mechanic that changed my oil told me the oil that was used was very heavy, like a mix of heavy oil and alot of luke oil, kinda sticky to his fingers in a way.. he thought that was weird.

so he changed the oil, 5w-30 "SYNTHETIC" to the car. I drive the car for about an hour and all i hear at 2500 RPM is a fast knocking noise..im like WTF IS THAT!!! took it back to ask the mechanic and he said sounds like the engine is fucked and that the dealership used heavy oil to conceal the noise..... im like mother$^^&%&*. those scumbags did me dirty!

now my question is if i only had the car for a week what are the chances of me getting this money? can i possibly have them fix it? i had no warranty on it since they charged about $1,100 extra than any other dealership would on a used car warranty.. anyone had experience with anything like this?

Lemon laws apply only to new cars. Check with the New Jersey consumer's affairs (or whatever they call it) to see what the laws are regarding used cars and fitness for use. The transaction took place in NJ so only its laws will apply. You want to look over your paper work. If you see the words "as-is where-is", you haven't got much to stand on.

What kind of dealership was this? A used car lot? Or an Audi dealer? I suspect a used car lot but you used the word dealership so I just want to clarify that. With a dealership you have MUCH more leverage. With a used car dealer, well, you know the stories....

Good luck,

Bob
