License Plate Light
Greetings to All
Before sending this, I did a complete Forum search on this problem for any possible previous threads , that dealt with it , I must say I have tried all possibilities mentioned in the threads.
Changed the burnt out fuse ,replaced the bulbs, cleaned the contacts...etc.
She is a 1998 A6 1.8 Turbo. Now let me throw some light on my possible problem :-
A-Are the electrics so sensitive ,that if the bulbs are not (original) ,the system rejects them, I mean do these bulbs come in various voltages.and I have inocently put in the wrong voltage/ value bulbs.
B- If My problem is wiring based, Are there any trouble spots, for me to go straight to them, rather than ripping away the wiring looms or bundles.
C-Could it be that a reset of some sort has to be done after Fuse/Bulb replacements.
My Best Regards to All
