Default Lock doors without key

So basically, my mum took the keys with her and i just noticed that one of the doors is unlocked.

Does anyone know how i can lock the door without a key? Ive tried to push down the door lock and close it, but it just pops up again. Any ideas here?.

is there not a lock button on the inside of the drivers door, get in through the unlocked door, get into the drivers seat, get out of drivers door, press the lock button next to the door pull inside close door and walk away.

LOL, Sort of like when you loose the remote control and spend 30 minutes looking for it because you don't want to turn the TV on by hand.

I must admit, been there, done that

Go outside and try that yourself. You clearly haven't owned a european car before. If you press the lock button on the drivers door with the drivers door open, it will lock all the doors but the drivers door. You also can not manually press down the drivers door lock with the drivers door open.

To the OP,

with the drivers door closed, press the lock button, get out of any door other than the drivers door and press the lock button manually.

I just encountered this issue. I took my 02 TT Quattro in for a clutch job (cringe), dropped the key in the drop box and realized my car was unlocked.

I got around the issue by opening the rear hatch, crawling over the rear seats, hitting the lock button and crawling back out the hatch. The motion sensor has a delay so it will not alarm if you hurry and crawl out after hitting lock. Once you close the hatch, the car locks.
