Its easy enough to get into my car with the advanced key in my pocket, I just walk up to the car and it unlocks, I grab the handle and get in. However, I'm having trouble locking the car when I get out. It only seems to do it once out of every 5 times or so, is there some sort of trick? The manual says to lock the car, all you have to do is touch the handle, and the car will lock. Am I not touching the handle right, or what? Is anyone else having this problem?

 

Touch the little rectangle on the door handle.

 

press the little rectangle on the door handle and make sure that you hand is not holding the handle. Otherwise it won't lock.

 

I have finally figured out a fool-proof method for locking the doors: I wipe my fingertips across the handle as if I am wiping off dust. Works everytime. Thanks for the suggestion about not holding the handle, that seemed to be my downfall before. I was holding the handle and pressing the hell out of that little rectangle...
