Im looking into purchasing a '00 2.7t with 144k miles on it. it was just gotten the timing done, but is there anything else to be concerned about with this high of millage?

i have read the stickied threads and will be asking the current owner if the turbos have ever been replaced, along with the maf.

if neither have been replaced, should i be expecting them to fail withing the next 30k miles?

whats a fair asking price for a bone stock '00 a6

 

My son bought a '00 2.7T 6spd in '11 for $3K.
Numerous fixes & $ since then, but most to be expected for car of this age.
Certainly getting history of maintainance is right thing to do. Did they show any proof that timing was done, or just verbal? With 144K on it, sure better hope TB was done. Our biggest headache was that the prior owner screwed up the timing & it took us some "time" to figure out what was wrong.
