Hello all.

1999 A6 that has recently begun losing data. Occasionally after the car has been sitting for a couple of days the computer seems to reset itself and the MPG's/Hours Driven etc. are all reset to 0.

ALSO,

I upgraded the headlights a couple of years ago to an aftermarket version with daytime running LED's (they are on as soon as the cars starts and stay on for a short period after shut-off). A short while ago they stopped coming on at all unless I turn the headlights to either the running lights or ON position.

My question is, is there a battery or some other power source that powers these functions that may have failed? I checked all fuses and they are all good.
