FYI - ETC 7150 is not the same, its close but not quite same. Dont think those will work.

and another question on this topic, what is a good scan tool to read and reset codes ? i have iphone5 but willing to get just regular dedicated scan tool if its better

damn the rover pods have gone up in price, we should see if gruven can also make them.
