Default Multi-Function Steeing

Hi All,

Have an A6. Got an RNS E unit and love it, but I will probably die using it cause it forces me to look in to use it. Would love a MFSW. Sourced one on net and rang local audi garage to see if it would work with my car, they were worse than useless, did'nt want to know.

Could anyone here tell me if this will work on my car, details below, and what else I will need to acquire and how to do it. Also will the MFSW give me good control over the RNS E unit or is it not worth the hassel. Thanks in advance.

VIN: WAUZZZ4B94N023229 2004 a6 1.9TDI Muti-tronic (Sports model with sports 3 spoke steering wheel)
Steering Wheel:
4b0 419 091 bb 45p
Air BAg: 4b0 880 201 af 3zq

I should probably add, the car has no cruise control or trip computer (would love those 2) and when the guy was putting in the RNS E unit he had to take a feed from the 'speed' wire behind the cluster to get the NAV to work.
