Default MY CAR BURNED UP!!

So I know this is a repeat story from alot of other AUDI owners. But here it goes. My headlights have been acting funny since I got the car. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Then today when i was driving to school, my dash started smoking. Barely had enough time to get out before the dash was engulfed in flames. Then up flames she went. It was pretty sweet!!! Im not upset because I have full coverage with a $250 deductible and 100% Gap insurance through my bank I think Im gonna lease a new benz now. Sorry...................

You Lucky!! Glad you made it out ok. I wish mine would burn up. I'd get a benz too. My A6 has been a big headache.

My headlights always worked when I switched them on. But it was during the day when I wasn't using them that they'd act funny. Like sometimes they would be on all the time, similar to daytime running lights, until I was told that I didnt have daytime running lights. Then they would be off the next time I started the car. This went back and forth throughout the time I owned the car. Since NOV/07. My car was a '00 A6 Quattro with the 2.8 in it and about 106,000 on the odometer, a car that obviously didn't get the "JC RECALL" work done. My wallets glad I never got around to changing those timing belts
So I stopped into the Benz dealership a few hours after it happened and was sold on a lease for a Brand new , last years stock,07 C 230 sport 6 speed, black on black. My payments will be just under $300. I was paying $320 for my A6 loan. Plus I have a 99 BMW 528i W/ 140,000 mi on itthat I can drive if need to conserve mileage on my lease
I really liked the way that A6 looked though

I am glad to hear that you are ok. I am also amazed that you purchased an 8 year old car and your monthly loan payments were $320 per month. You either paid more than I think or you must have had a one year note.

Nope. No Gap Coverage on my last car that got totaled by a DEER!!! So rolled over the difference andI was paying off $15,000 for an $8,000 car. Im stupid
Never again. I love GAP INSURANCE!!!! I am now FREE and CLEAR!!!

This is another example of why all of you should call the dealer with your VIN number to see if BOTH recalls for the headlight system has been performed on your car.
