need help ASAP stuck

my brother just called me his A6 wagon has some electrical issues...

i belive its a 1999 or a 2000... headlights, blower & windshield wipers all stopped.. he said that he smelled some burning..anyway ideas.. i guess he is currently checking the fuses...

ign switch eh.. i will have to tell him... the car still run thou and stuff he drove it with just the front orange lights.. if it was the ign switch would the car still run?

Yah the car can run with a bad ignition switch. I second the bad ignition* switch as well.
