I have a 2005 A6 and I need help identifying a part. What is the part located under the front license plate called? The piece of long plastic that actually holds the licence plate. Is it some kind of trim? Anyone know where I can buy one? mine is cracked

 

It sounds like you need a 'licence plate filler panel'. There are several different versions of them, depending in your VIN. A dealership parts dept. can tell you which one matches your vehicle.
