i would find out where they were built. there are lots of stories on the s4 where unbranded turbos fail and require another set.

the cheapest good k04 i know of are franken turbos. they start at 1700 but they are very good quality. just know that the engine must removed to access the turbos on the 2.7 so if these new unbranded turbos fail thats just money down the drain. so save your self the trouble and the labor and buy good branded turbos.

alright i know this thread is a tad old, but I am in the same boat, a6 2.7T, one of my turbos blew for sure and I'm opting to replace them both. I keep finding turbo pairs for under $500, which always sounds too good to be true. I find myself looking into the websites and seeing nothing but terrible reviews and stories of failed turbos. Did rossitondc36 end up buying the speedyracer turbos? did they fail or not? 6 years later, i would say if they're still running then i ought to get some.
