Please help !!

Ok so here goes. I returned home shut the car off and then five min later i hear the aux cooling fan kick on ? wont shut off till battery is dead? Tried
disconnenting the coolent sensor on the rad hose- still running.Tried turning
car off and on-still going.tried a/c works fine shuts off fine -fan still running?
the caqr is running normal temp not overheating and runs smooth.
any advise would help as there is no audi dealer on the island i live on.This is
our only car so iam having to diconnect the battery evertime i shut it off so that i can pick up the kids from school.

Sorry forgot 1999 audi a6 quantro all wheel drive 2.8 l .

 

I replaced the Fan Control Unit Module . So if anyone else has this same problem this was my fix.$30.00 from autoreckers.
