I am not trying to be a smart ***, but you need to get yourself a Bentley or a manual of some sort. In order to set the timing correctly, there are a few things to do in sequence. First the alignment of the intake cams to the exhaust cams connected with cam chains and properly loaded tensioner for both banks... Two, alignment of the exhaust cams to the crank itself. You will need proper tools to do all of this. They are:
- Cam chain tensioner tool.
- Cam lock bar
- Crank lock pin
- Cam chain tensioner tool.
- Cam lock bar
- Crank lock pin

I have myself the bentley manual, just bought it. It does not contain any information, at least non that I could find, on how to put the cams back into timing. I have 2 of the cam chain tensioners, the cam lock bar I will rent when it is time, and the crank lock pin, I have yet to hear of, but it looks like I will not need it till the timing belt goes back on. Currently though, I need to put the cams in the heads back first.
