Like I said, I just need help getting to the TCM im trying to get to it to get the serial number from it and order a new one.

I Just recently bought this 2004 Audi A4 3.0 and is the only issue it has but its not bad at all.

I had the panels off and to the point where i needed to roll back the carpet but that where i didn't feel comfortable. the carpet isnt "easy" to work with and was wondering if i skipped a step as i did not see a way to get it away from the firewall side.

I've been looking around like crazy for a tutorial or diy guide. any help will be greatly Appreciated.
